Current Status

The front end compiles rudimentary TI86-Basic into hcode, which is the intermediate code I am currently using between the front and back-ends. I am also developing the 86-z80 hcode compiler, which is still in the design stage.

Overview

HAL stands for Higher Assembly Language. The version currently being developed is 3.0, and it will support direct translation of TI-BASIC programs to assembly. It is a completely open source project, in fact I highly encourage participants (especialy considering that there are none besides me right now). It will run in DOS, Windows9x, linux, and it will probably work on any other platform that supports C (feel free to try).
